I accidentally changed the dbuser and dbpassword

hi, I’m new to media wiki and mysql. I was messing around in Localsettings.php and I changed the default dbuser and dbpassword. I don’t have a backup of localsettings.php. Is there anyway I can get the database user and password back? Failing that, now that i cant access my database can I back anything up?

nevermind guys, after a quick freak out I discovered that the settings could be recovered from index.php.
