installing component

Hey –
Bitnami looks great… Thanks!

I ran into 1 problem so far (it’s probably because of me or my server)...

I’ve never used a windows server before and don’t think I want to again, but for now I used the windows installer of bitnami and got joomla running smoothly (thanks – nice)...

The problem I’m running into is trying to install components etc.. I get this error:

“Unable to write entry:
Warning: file_put_contents(\tmp\install_47352929b5ba2\com_flysprayje_1.0.5) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\Program Files\BitNami Joomla Beta Stack\apps\joomla\htdocs\libraries\joomla\filesystem\file.php on line 296 “

I checked permissions, and they seeeem to be in order (again I don’t know windows servers)... everything is writeable anyway… And I’m using the Joomla 1.5RC3 beta version of the stack…

Any help would be appreciated – thanks

Well – maybe it’s only one component - Just installed docman fine…

It seems that FlySpray component isn’t compatible with Joomla 1.5. You can check that at http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,763/Itemid,35/
