Export to live webserver

Hi Guys,

Firstly – What a Gem!!!
A great product with great features. I have had so much trouble getting open source stuff working before.

So i have a project coming up, and i want to use Joomla. I would like to develope it offline with my bitnami stacks version. My question is can i migrate the bitname joomla to a live webserver after i have completed work on it.
Is it just a case of export and importing DB and Joomla files??

Hi Stacky,

Thanks! Right now you will have to do that manually, but it is entirely possible. In the future we will be providing tools to make it even easier to transition between local and remote installs and to upgrade. But for now mysqldump + copying files should work for you
