GD Library on 10.5 Leopard
|

I love Joomla! Now I love BitNami for letting me load Joomla on my mac. However I am finding myself in a bit of a situation. A great deal of PHP utilizes the GD library for handling images. Is there a way I can install this library so shopping cards and galleries work. Any ideas? |

Hi, We bundle GD with the stacks but it doesn’t seem to be working correctly. The team will look into this issue and we will get back to you. Cheers |

I thought it was just me… Any info on installing GD would be much appreciated! Keep up the good work, bar GD the stack works like a dream. |

Yes, it is fixed and it will be released at the end of this week or the beginning of the next if nothing unexpected happens. Take into the account that this change affects ALL the stacks that use PHP, which are quite a lot, and we need to build and test them before releasing anything. And we’re updating Apache, PHP and MySQL to the latest version by the way, so even more testing is needed :) |

thats cool, thanks for your reply. When the updates do come out how do I update my apache/php/mysql without losing any of the stuff I have already done? Thanks for the everything. I will name my next child Bitnami. |
