No install in Windows 2003 server R2

Hello, I’m trying to install Bitnami joomla in a server with windows 2003 R2 version, but after 5 seconds the executable do nothing, only shows “bitnami” logo and nothing more. I look for the process in the taskmanager and still there in memory about 36MB, but the setup doesn’t appear.

Do you see a netstat.exe process running as well? Do you have an antivirus or firewall running or any other software that may be interfering with the startup of the installer?

Hello Daniel,

About your question, no antivirus or firewall installed even firewall of Microsoft Server is disabled. After click on the installer the process appears in taskmanager, setup only show the “Bitnami” logo, and nothing more… :? is rare. I wait for several minutes even couple of hours, but the process still in memory with 36-39MB and 5 seconds running.
About netstat.exe is in memory too, but just running nothing happen.

Some Idea?

UPDATED: It’s my fault P2P software (emule) with their incoming/outgoing connection blocks the installer setup, thanks Daniel for the tip about “netstat”, never I’ll guess that.
