libfreetype for truetype font support

PHP, particularly the libgd that is included depends on the libfreetype library to allow use of truetype fonts with the GD functions in php. It would be great if the next version included libfreetype and gd was aware of it.

Are you referring to code or monetary contributions? Our goal is to Open BitNami so others can post new projects, etc. but it is going to take a bit.

I was thinking of code. If there were docs on your installer, I’d be happy to add libfreetype and recompile php.
