Installing on Vista 64bit

Hello,

I’m kinda new to the BitNami world :-)

I’m trying to install the WAMPStack 1.0 beta on Vista Ultimate 64bit. I double click the installer, Vista asks me if I want to allow this program to run, I click “Allow”, and then nothing.

Has anyone else installed WAMPStack 1.0 beta on Vista64? Do I need to do anything different? Am I out of luck?

I have installed and run the individual stacks just fine, but I’d like to run multiple apps on a single WAMPStack instead of installing all the bits for each app.

Help?

Umm, strange, specially as the other stacks installed fine… Can you do the following? Open a command console, do the following:

set INITDEBUG=1

bitnami-wampstack-1.0-beta-windows-installer.exe > log.txt

and let us now the contents of log.txt

Thanks for the response Daniel. I did what you asked and nothing gets written into the log.txt file.

but does the file get created? it may be a permissions issue that you cannot write in that directory?
